Curriculum Focus

Our Montessori infant curriculum is designed to strengthen early language, movement, and sensory development through meaningful, hands-on experiences that match your baby's stage of readiness. With gentle routines and thoughtfully prepared activities, little ones build trust, coordination, and early cognitive foundations that support lifelong learning.

Daily Routine

Each day is thoughtfully guided with enriching activities like pictures and books, movement, songs, language exploration, sensory play, and gentle interactions with other little ones. Alongside these experiences, your baby's feedings, diaper changes, and naps are lovingly individualized to their needs, creating a calm rhythm that supports comfort, security, and steady growth.

Classroom Experience

In our infant classroom, little ones thrive in a peaceful, unpressured environment with consistent caregivers and Montessori-trained guides. With soft music, sensory exploration, rich communication, and daily observations shared with parents, your baby is supported, comforted, and encouraged every step of the way.

About Our Montessori Infant Program

It's only natural to wonder whether your baby is ready for a school setting this early, and many parents share the same gentle worries. At Spectrum Montessori, we follow Dr. Maria Montessori's understanding that little ones learn more in their earliest years than at any other time, and that they thrive when they feel safe, loved, and free to explore. With calm spaces, nurturing guides, and guidance that honors your baby's pace, we offer more than daycare, we create a warm beginning where early growth, comfort, and discovery unfold naturally.

From 3 Months to 18 Months: Child Development Support for Every Stage

Your baby's first months are filled with tiny discoveries, and our Infant Program is designed to nurture each one with warmth, patience, and genuine care. At Spectrum Montessori, little ones from 3 to 18 months are welcomed into calm spaces, loving arms, and thoughtful activities that support their early growth in a peaceful, unpressured way. Here, your baby is supported, comforted, and encouraged as they begin to understand their world one small milestone at a time.

Sensory Development

In our Montessori infant program, little ones explore their senses through soft textures, natural materials, gentle sounds, and simple visual experiences that support healthy brain development. These warm, everyday moments help your baby build recognition, curiosity, and comfort with the world around them.

Freedom of Movement & Gross Motor Skills

We give your baby the freedom to move as they're ready, whether practicing tummy time, rolling, crawling, or pulling up using low bars and soft climbing supports. These opportunities help strengthen their body, balance, and coordination in a relaxed, unpressured way.

Fine Motor Development

Our Montessori guides offer activities like grasping rings, transferring objects between cups, and touching interesting textures to help little ones strengthen their hands and early coordination. These gentle experiences support the beginning stages of hand-eye control and purposeful movement.

Early Language Foundations

Language grows naturally in our classrooms through warm conversation, singing, reading picture books, and naming the everyday things your baby sees and touches. These loving interactions help your little one build vocabulary, practice early sounds, and feel deeply connected.

Practical Life: Early Independence

We gently encourage simple routines like early self-feeding, placing toys back in baskets, or wiping a small spill with help. These small, sweet moments help your baby feel capable, included, and confident in their growing independence.

Emotional Security & Social Development

Our consistent guides, predictable routines, and one-on-one bonding moments help your baby feel safe, soothed, and understood. Early social interactions, like shared smiles, turn-taking play, and gentle group experiences, support connection and trust.

Cognitive Development & Problem-Solving

In our Montessori Infant Program, babies explore cause and effect with materials like object permanence boxes, simple puzzles, and containers with lids. These activities nurture early concentration, memory, and the beginnings of problem-solving.

Peaceful Routines & Natural Rhythms

We honor your baby's unique rhythm, feeding them when they're hungry, comforting them when needed, and helping them rest when they're tired. Soft music, calm transitions, and soothing sensory moments make their day feel predictable and safe.

Exploration Through Safe, Prepared Environments

Our infant classrooms are thoughtfully arranged with low shelves, cozy mats, child-safe mirrors, and baskets of materials chosen specifically for this age. Everything is designed so your little one can explore freely, safely, and confidently, always at their own pace.

We transferred our daughter here when we found out Ms. Jaimee was joining the school. She led a great charge at the school we, previously, attended. She positively changed the environment, brought a wonderful learning and fun atmosphere, and hired some exceptional staff. On top of that, meeting with Ms Josie put it over the top. Wonderful educator in every sense. Excited for our daughter to thrive here.

We have tried two other preschools in our area for our son and daughter and nothing compares to Spectrum Montessori. The beautiful facilities that are so well taken care of are wonderful, but what truly shines is the teachers and administrators. Their love and care for each and every child that comes through their doors is truly unmatched. Mrs. Brenda is a phenomenal Director and takes the time to know each student and their families, always being available and encouraging at every step. Ms. Cassy and Ms. Monse are our daughter's teachers and I cannot tell you how much they have changed how our daughter sees school. She is excited at every drop off and every pick up she is chatting about her day and all of the things she got to do. Our daughter has truly blossomed and feels like part of a community at Spectrum Montessori. We are so lucky to have found this school!
